It's been quite a number of days since my last update here. That's pretty much because there hasn't been any new "news" to report in the ongoing saga of Lumberton EMS. I didn't get a chance to attend Tuesday's meeting of the Fire department to see if they had any reaction to the EMS's vote to basically hand it all over to them.
Kimber, I have found, makes some really nice 1911 pistols. How do I know this? I just bought one of their Eclipse Pro II pistols in .45 ACP. Hopefully I'll hear back from the Golden Triangle Gun Club soon and will get a chance to go out there and turn some money into noise. I'm getting mighty tired of paying to go and shoot at the gun range run by one of the local firearms dealers in Beaumont.
